The short version
- Five positions, nine slots each. Every position has three 1.2 slots, three 1.1 slots and three 1.0 slots, except QB Frame (0.5) and RB Frame (0.3).
- Draft slot comes from build OVR plus a small combine swing: 95.5+ is a top-3 pick, 89+ Round 1, 83+ Rounds 2-3, 76+ Rounds 4-7, below that undrafted.
- A separate destiny roll decides the arc: about 10% of careers bust regardless of draft slot, and an undrafted player who rolls badly is "Cut in August" with zero seasons.
- Automatic Hall of Fame: 2 MVPs, or 3 Super Bowls, or an MVP with a ring, or 3 DPOYs.
- The all-time #1 is a 114. The daily rotates QB → RB → WR on a three-day cycle; LB and CB are free-play positions.

QB height "barely matters" by design (the code cites Brees and Wilson), and a running back's Frame is nearly weightless. Two labels are deliberately odd: the RB catch slot is Catching (WR already owns "Hands") and the CB tackle slot is Run Support (LB owns "Tackling"), because each label carries one weight game-wide.
What lands
- Pools by position: about 70 QBs, 127 RBs, 205 WRs, 158 LBs, 206 CBs, plus 58 legends (about a dozen per position). Ratings from Madden NFL; not affiliated with EA Sports or the NFL.
- 4% Legend per spin. Era Prime cards are not in this game; the only Prime is the one ⚡ Boost makes from the card you landed: +6 to every slot and +5 OVR.
- Tier weighting 15% diamond, 24% gold, 26% silver, 25% bronze, 10% grey. One Re-spin, one Boost, one Snag. One day in seven the daily's first card is a guaranteed Diamond.

Then a destiny roll, independent of the pick, shapes the arc. About one career in ten busts, scaled to the build so a busted 94 still looks better than a busted 78. Undrafted players who roll below the line never make a roster: 🎽 Cut in August, zero seasons. Late picks and undrafted players who make the Hall earn the 💎 DRAFT STEAL tag.
The pro sim
- Careers start at 22. Age caps by position: QB 33 to 39, RB 27 to 31, WR 30 to 34, LB 29 to 34, CB 29 to 33.
- One injury per career at most; the yearly chance is 14% for RBs, 12% for LBs, 9% for everyone else.
- Stats by position: QB attempts, yards per attempt, TDs and INTs; RB carries, yards per carry, TDs; WR targets, catch rate, yards per reception, TDs; LB tackles, sacks, interceptions, forced fumbles, passes defended; CB interceptions, passes defended, tackles. Archetypes shape the line: a Designated Hunter LB gets 1.9× sacks, a Coverage Backer 1.8× picks, a Ball Hawk CB 1.7× picks, a Shutdown Island CB trades volume for a flat value bonus.
- Awards from that season's production: Pro Bowl, All-Pro, MVP (QB-favored; a defender can win it, rarely), DPOY (defense only), OPOY (non-QB offense), Super Bowl ring and Super Bowl MVP.
- Earnings cap at $620M.
The Hall of Fame
Otherwise the legacy score is MVP × 30, Super Bowl × 13, SB MVP × 8, All-Pro × 9, DPOY × 22, OPOY × 6, Pro Bowl × 2.5, plus production (yards and TDs for offense; sacks × 0.24, interceptions × 0.6, tackles, forced fumbles and passes defended for defense). 85 is the line, with a ramp from 62.

Tips
- QB: the three accuracy slots. Burrow, Purdy and Sayin-type accuracy cards are the meta; Frame is a 0.5 throwaway, so a 6'0" quarterback costs nothing.
- RB: Speed, Break Tackle, Vision, and ignore Frame entirely (0.3).
- WR: Hands, Speed, Routes. Jerry Rice in Routes is the single most-used pick on the board.
- Draft position is the only number that matters before the sim. 95.5 is the line for a top-three pick; a 94.9 is Round 1 but not the spotlight.
- Defense wins DPOYs, and three of them is an automatic Hall. A LB with 1.2 Tackling, Pursuit and Coverage is the fastest defensive route in.
